But besides being the place of our prayer and worship, this Church is
also a loud testimony to the deep faith in , and love for, God of those
who have gone before us. Making great sacrifices in terms of money
and energy, they built it and have handed it down to us. Let us
remember them with deep gratitude.
Now it is our turn to ensure that this Church is well maintained and kept
as a safe and suitable place of worship, an appropriate house for God.
We also have to hand it thus over to our children and grandchildren.
However, just like any other building, our Church building also would
periodically need repairs and maintenance. At times, that may be
costly too. The 57 year old St. Callistus is at a stage where it requires
some serious repair and maintenance work.

St. Callistus Church is a wonderful parish and God has blessed us abundantly here. One
of the marvelous gifts God has blessed our community with is this beautiful church. It is here
where we meet God, and are spiritually fed and nourished; it is where we receive strength in
our weaknesses; it is where we unload our burden and get refreshed; and it is where we
receive solace and comfort in our struggles and pains. Our church is everything for us.
