Roman Catholic in faith, we are catholic also because of our diversity. We
have among us all kinds of nationalities under the sun! You name it, we
have it! We are cosmopolitan, so to say. Proud of all our various kind of
differences, we are more proud of our oneness. We are not all the same,
but we are united in the Lord.
We welcome you to visit us. We welcome you even more to worship with
us. We will be delighted to have you with us. We welcome you also to join
our parish community as a member as well as to be part of any of the
ministries here of your choice which is suitable to you.
Thank you for visiting our site. You are in our prayers.
May the Lord bless and keep you always under his loving care.
Fr. Jimmy Thottapally
Pastoral Administrator.

Welcome. Welcome to this website, and welcome to
the Catholic community of St. Callistus behind it.
This community exists professing our faith in God as
revealed by Jesus, the Savior. We are disciples of
Jesus, and we seek to witness to him before all
people as best we can. The Lord is our treasure, our
inheritance; loving and serving him, and loving and
serving all in His name and for him, is what we
cherish the most.

Pope Benedict's general prayer intention for NOVEMBER 2011: "That the terminally ill may be supported by their faith in God and the love of their brothers and sisters". His mission intention: "That the celebration of World Mission Day may foster in the People of God a passion for evangelisation with the willingness to support the missions with prayer and economic aid for the poorest Churches".

NEW ROMAN MISSAL As announced last weekend, the Vatican is introducing a new translation of the Roman Missal, the text used for Mass. The new translation will be used beginning on the first Sunday of Advent. Before this time, we need to familiarize ourselves with the changes in songs and in the text for Mass. The Worship Office of the Diocese of Oakland is preparing hand held Mass part responses to be used by the Church assembly. We will keep you informed as implementation plans in our parish are finalized.
